Yorke & Associates CPAs was founded by Richard E. Yorke, a CPA with over 35 years of public accounting experience, including 20 years as tax partner of two local CPA firms.   • Obtained $40,000 tax refund for a medium-sized machine shop by identifying unclaimed tax credits.
  • Deferred $650,000 of taxable income to later years by changing to the cash-basis of accounting for a manufacturer grossing $2.5 million in sales.

President and founder of the firm, Richard E. Yorke oversees the firm’s tax, business and wealth management services. Before establishing Yorke & Associates CPAs, Inc., Richard was a tax partner for over 21 years with local CPA firms and worked extensively with manufacturers, distributors and contractors, and individuals with high incomes and net worth.

Richard graduated from Cal Poly, Pomona with honors in accounting and completed his MBA from Cal State University, Fullerton. He has attended the Results Accountants boot camp, a comprehensive symposium where he learned how to help business owners add real value to their businesses and enrich their personal lives. He holds a California Department of Insurance Life Agent license and maintains both series 7 and 66 NASD licenses.

Richard is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs and is active in The Community Foundation, serving non-profit organizations in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

Richard's greatest strengths are his ability to formulate strategies to save his client taxes and improve their wealth.

Jennifer joined Yorke & Associates CPAs in 2006 as manager of the firm’s accounting services. Jennifer has been a CPA since 1986, and has extensive experience working with small businesses both as in-house controller and as outside accountant and advisor.

Jennifer received her accounting education locally at Cal Poly, Pomona, where she graduated with honors in Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis. Subsequently, while working full-time, Jennifer pursued an advanced degree, earning a Master’s degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. She is a member of the California Society of CPAs and American Institute of Public Accountants (AICPA).

Jennifer’s greatest strengths are helping clients maintain accurate and up-to-date records. With her extensive accounting, tax knowledge and experience, she helps clients identify tax and accounting issues and helps to provide solutions.
